Since 1952, the Omega Constellation has maintained its iconic status as a member of the Omega’s premier line of timepieces, at one point being the flagship model. Many variations and evolutions of the constellation are available with at least one to suit each and every collector.

Fast forward three decades to 1982, and we saw the debut of the Omega Constellation Manhattan, with its iconic sporty integrated bracelet, bold Roman numeral bezel, and most importantly, the Gryphon Claws.

Designed by Carol Didisheim, a young design student from La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Gryphon Claws are dual claw sets pinning the crystal to the case at both 6 and 9 o’clock, a bold replacement for traditional bezel design.

This particular Constellation sports the classic yet versatile stainless steel and white textured dial combination. With a 22-millimetre case size, it is the smaller variant of the Manhattan line-up and features a stainless-steel integrated bracelet, folding clasp, and screw-down case-back.
