Independent Valuation

Valuations are commonly required for insurance and legal purposes. 

We work together with Independent Jewellery & Gemstone Valuations (IJGV ) who have extensive experience in providing trustworthy and accurate jewellery valuations. IJGV is considered one of the most recognised diamond and precious gem valuers in Australia with credentials that include GAA Certified Diamond Graders, Fellows of the Gemmological Association Australia, and Accredited Valuers of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers (NCJV).

Add an Independent Valuation starting at $115 for one standard jewellery valuation. Price confirmation after assessment. You can mail or drop off your jewels at our Portside Wharf store. 

Please allow an additional 4 working days for your jewellery and valuation delivery. 

Same-Day Independent Jewellery Valuations

Starting at $165  (for standard vluations) and must be dropped off by 10AM for pick up at 4PM same day at our Portside Wharf location.

Certificate of Authenticity

(A Certificate without dollar value) - $95.00

Diagnosis of metals and gemstones - a certificate is provided without a dollar value. Commonly used to authenticate luxury designer brands and antique provenance (i.e. hallmarks etc.).

All valuation prices are subject to confirmation by our valuers. For intricate jewellery or watches, a secondary invoice may be issued following your confirmation.
