A central old mine-cut diamond estimated at 0.44 carats, with G colour and VS clarity. The two oval-cut reddish-pink rubies measure approximately 5 x 3.5 millimetres with a combined estimated weight of 0.66 carats. These lightly included rubies display a vibrant, saturated hue and softened facet edges and surface abrasions consistent with a century of wear.
NOTE: These natural signs of age confirm the ring's authentic antique provenance, offering a romantic, 'found' aesthetic that modern reproductions cannot replicate.
