The bright light Ceylon-type blue star sapphire measures 10.00x8.00x5.95 millimetres and is estimated to weigh 4.60 carats.
The sapphire has two chips at the base and a very small chip at the front, and whilst they do not affect the integrity of this gem, it is worth a mention.
